RSPCA East Lancashire look for home for one-eyed cat Chan and his pal Grey

HE may have only one eye and not many teeth, but a caring owner is being sought for Chan the cat.

Chan and his pal Grey have been living at the RSPCA centre, in Altham, for 10 months and are the longest residents.

RSPCA say they now rely on each other and hope that an owner can be found who can take both into their home.

Chan is described as sweet, sociable and affectionate.

He had been living with lots of other cats in a home with an elderly owner who couldn’t cope.

At some point Grey has lived as a pet but was abandoned leaving her to fend for herself.

This made her very unsociable but over the months at the RSPCA has begun to regain her trust in humans.

Although Grey doesn’t yet enjoy being stroked she is beginning to tolerate it.

A spokesman said: “Grey and Chan are both so much happier for finding each other, but they now need to find a home with an owner who can love them too.

“Grey depends on Chan so much that we would prefer them to go home together.

"Together we hope they will capture somebody’s heart.”

The problem with a one-eyed cat is that you're never quite sure which end you're looking at!
.
Anway, I hope a kind soul takes him in.
