THE star of the Safestyle UK TV adverts had been fined £400 after being convicted of a motoring offence.
Jeffrey Alan Brown, 44, of Cornmill Court, Altham, best known for his ‘You buy one you get one free’ catchphrase appeared at Hyndburn Magistrates’ Court to be sentenced.
Brown denied failing to provide information about a driver’s identity, but was found guilty.
The charge relates to an incident in Blackburn in December 2008.
Hyndburn magistrates fined him £400, with a total of £215 costs and his licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
