A MEMBER of a gang which brought terror to a man's home and the street where he lived has kept his freedom.

Abid Hussain, 22, and his friends had turned up at the Accrington property of Terence Grimshaw just before midnight, last October.

In the melee that followed, windows were smashed, a TV was hurled into the house and doors were kicked, Burnley Crown Court.

Hussain, whose colleague had fallen out with the victim, was later picked out on an identity parade but Mr Grimshaw did not know which of the gang was the ringleader.

The defendant, of Higher Antley Street, Accrington, admitted affray and was given 16 weeks in prison, suspended for a year. He was said to be "effectively of good character."

Sentencing, Recorder Geoffrey Lowe said Mr Grimshaw and the residents of the street were subjected to a disgraceful piece of public disorder and must have been in terror.

What a load of bullshit, racist attack which if the other way round (gang of whites) would have resulted in prison but because he is asain he gets a slap on the hands otherwise the judge will be classed as being racist.
