A CONVICTED sex offender was found in possession of internet enabled devices which did not have software capable of storing his browsing history.

Blackburn magistrates heard Glen Adrian Threlkeld was subject to a sexual harm prevention order which required him to be transparent with the police.

Threlkeld, 22, of Lydia Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to two charges of breaching a sexual offences prevention order. He was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court to be sentenced.

The court heard police discovered a computer and a games console which were both capable of accessing the internet. Neither device was able to store the browsing history.
