A DANCE charity which works with children with disabilities has been shortlisted for a national award.

DanceSyndrome, based in Accrington, is one of the four finalists for the Charity of the Year prize at the 2018 E3 Business Awards.

They will be held at the Macron Stadium in Bolton on Thursday, July 12, when the judges will pick the winners.

The charity, which was founded by dancer Jen Blackwell, who happens to have Down’s syndrome, provides inclusive dance workshops and leadership training for people with and without disabilities.
