TWO fire crews were sent to an outbuilding on fire in Accrington this evening.
The blaze in Hood Street is suspected of being arson.
The two fire appliances were despatched a 5.54pm from Hyndburn fire station.
Crews spent an hour at the scene putting out the blaze and damping down.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Two fire engines and crews from Hyndburn were assigned to a fire that had been deliberately started in an outbuilding Hood Street, Accrington.
"Firefighters used a hosereel jet to put the fire out. Police were notified of the suspected arson.
"Fire and Police are investigating the fire and examining CCTV.
"Crews spent an hour at the incident."
