AN education resources company has been nominated for a national award for the first time.
Direct-Ed Printing Services in Accrington has been shortlisted for the Education Resource Awards 2017 in Birmingham next week.
The company is competing for the ‘general classroom resource’ prize for its personalised exercise book.
Marketing director Joe Mugan said: “It is really an honour to be shortlisted for these awards.
“They are arguably the most important nationwide education awards and come right in the middle of the largest education show in the UK.
“We are up against a great company and two great products in our category so it is fantastic just to be there. To win would be excellent.”
Direct-ED is against two helix trading products on a shortlist of three to clinch the prize.
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, March 17.
