Manager Carmela Davenport said that the park will bring something new to the town which it has never seen before.

She said: “There’s nothing else to do at all like this in the area.

“It will give the kids somewhere to go and something different to do.

“Hopefully we can attract everyone in the area at some point, we’ve got so much on offer.

“Our opening went well and we’re definitely confident that we’re going to be a success.”

There are also junior areas for children under five and facilities for birthday parties.

As well as a lange room with multiple trampolines, there is also a zone for fitness classes said to be coming soon and a ‘weekend party room’ with music for 11 to 17-year-olds.

Cllr Paddy Short, who represents the area on Hyndburn Council. said the development was great good news for the town and East Lancashire.

He said: “It’s absolutely fantastic, it’s really really good for the area.

“Rather than having an empty building this will be a great facility for everyone.

“It’s an absolutely brilliant addition to the town centre.”
