WARNING: Police have advised people to secure their properties
A WARNING has been issued after a spate of burglaries at homes in Accrington.
Six properties were broken into on Moorhouse Avenue over night on December 13 and 14.
Police said garages, sheds and outbuildings were broken into.
A spokesman said: "Some of these had been left insecure by the residents so please can you make sure that all of your property is locked away and secure.
"We think that the burglaries occurred at 6:28am on December 14.
"If anyone has any information about these incidents please contact us on 101 quoting crime ref ED1619183."
