The two females the police wish to contact
POLICE officers in Hyndburn are keen to trace the two females pictured regarding a purse theft in Accrington Town Centre.
An 87-year-old female had £500 stolen in the incident on Tuesday afternoon in the outdoor market.
They issued the appeal just after noon today.
A police spokesman said: "We believe that the offenders are linked to the Burnley and Chorley incidents of a similar nature.
"If anyone recognises the pair please could they contact PC 1183 Graham Hartley or PCSO 7672 James Southworth on 01254 353103 or 101 or crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting crime number ED1618312."
