A 42-YEAR-OLD woman has appeared before Blackburn magistrates in connection with the investigation into the murder of Mohammed Yousaf at his home in Granville Road, Accrington, in September.

Amna Khatoon Arif, of Washington Street, Accrington, was sent on bail to Preston Crown Court charged with intending to pervert the course of justice by telling officers investigating the murder that Muhammed Saeed Arif had not left the house all weekend and that no school children had come to her house during the same period.
