A WOMAN suffered a fractured eyesocket and a broken cheekbone after her partner punched her.
Blackburn magistrates heard Chelsea Lee could remember nothing of the attack by Matthew James Alltree but the incident was caught on CCTV.

Alltree, 28, of Victoria Avenue, Accrington, pleaded guilty to assaulting Miss Lee. He was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison suspended for two years, ordered to complete 20 days’ rehabilitation and pay £2,000 compensation. He was also made subject to a restraining order for three years.
Eddie Harrison, prosecuting, said the couple had been out drinking in Accrington and about 1am when Alltree said he wanted to go home.
He said: “CCTV showed him punching her causing her to fall to the floor.”
He said Miss Lee had an operation to put screws and plates into her face.
Coleen Dickinson-Jones, defending, said while it was accepted it had been a nasty incident it was very brief.
