ACCRINGTON Stanley Football Club has revealed plans for a new stand to boost capacity by 1,500 supporters.
The proposed stand, which would include spectator spaces for 14 wheelchair users, will replace the existing north stand following concerns from residents in Epping Avenue last month over the lack of consultation about the multi-million pound redevelopment of the site.

The go-ahead would also provide the club with improved spectator facilities such as toilets and refreshment kiosks.
Improvement works would be carried out to the Wham Stadium at the proposed stand and to an area near houses on Epping Avenue.
Managing director David Burgess has formally submitted the application to Hyndburn Council for consideration.
