POLICE are searching for two men who allegedly stole an iPhone 6 from a phone shop in Accrington town centre.

Clear CCTV images have been released of the suspects who struck on Wednesday, March 23 at the i-Tech mobile phone and accessory store on Broadway.

Police said that the older of the suspects appears to have distracted staff and his accomplice reached into a cabinet and stole a grey iPhone 6 valued at £470.

Both suspects are male, of Asian appearance and were wearing dark clothing.

One appears to be in his late 40s or 50s, balding with greying hair and beard.

The other appears to be in his 30s and has a dark beard.

PC Graham Hartley from Hyndburn police, said: "The images we've retrieved are of high clarity and we hope the suspects will be recognised.
