A 20-YEAR-OLD man who was provided with a home by a charity responded by stealing the furniture they put in his flat.
Blackburn magistrates heard Dean Connor Tytler also stole an ID from a fellow resident at the location .
Tytler, of Fife Street, Accrington, was convicted in his absence of stealing a bed, two settees and a fridge worth a total of £650 belonging to Stepping Stones and theft of an iPod worth £100 owned by Michael Love.
He was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said Tytler had taken furniture out of the flat and sold it.
“He has breached the trust of the charitable organisation that was helping him and he has also stolen from a fellow resident,” said Miss Allan.
