THE countdown is on for one lucky couple to win a £1,500 wedding reception package at The Ballroom, Accrington Town Hall.
Eleven local couples entered an online competition to win their special day at the venue which has recently undergone a £750,000 refurbishment.
They've all uploaded an engagement 'selfie' to The Ballroom's Facebook page and the one with the highest number of 'likes' by the competition deadline of Monday, June 29 wins.
Kerry Smith, Accrington Town Hall's cultural service manager, said: "There's been a real buzz about The Ballroom among Hyndburn's brides and grooms-to-be since our wedding fair earlier this year. We know how expensive weddings can be so we're looking forward to helping one snap-happy couple lighten the load."
