YOUNGSTERS’ progress at St Anne’s and St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Primary School, in Sandy Lane, Accrington, has delighted teachers.
In a letter to parents, the school said: “We are delighted with the assessment outcomes this term, which show all round improving progress through the school.

“The data tells one story and, more importantly, the learning journey has been enriched with memorable experiences and exciting opportunities.”
The school was rated ‘good’ at its last Ofsted inspection in October 2011.
Inspector Christine Millett said: “This happy, harmonious school has many strengths, some of which are outstanding.
“Children start school with skills and knowledge that are below national expectations and make good progress during their time in school.”
