MORE than 150 competitors took part in a charity horse show in Accrington.
Riders of all ages took to the arena in Croft Top to raise money for Margaret Haes Riding Centre in Bury, which supports riding for the disabled.
The show, which raised around £2,000, took place on Saturday with organisers later praising the high standard of riding on display.
It was judged by Peter Hodgkinson, David Forggatt and Vicky Eggleston, and sponsored by local businesses.
Special guests included disabled riders from Margaret Haes Riding Centre, and John Haes, who is the charity’s honorary lifetime president.
