THREE men have been charged following an investigation into an armed robbery at Rishton Post Office.
Mohammed Iqbal, 32, of Maple Crescent, Preston, has been charged with conspiracy to steal, possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and perverting the course of justice.
Terry Yarwood, 34, of Trafford Street, Preston and Avaiz Samad, 21, of Blackpool Road, Preston were also both charged with conspiracy to steal and possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The incident took place on June 5.
The trio are due to appear at Blackburn Magistrates Court tomorrow.
