A jack-knifed lorry caused delays on Haslingden Road during rush hour this morning.
The broken down lorry at the junction with Hare Clough Close led to tailbacks on the M65 junction 5 for Guide from 7.30am.
The lorry was quickly removed, but traffic was heavy around the Royal Blackburn Hospital area and towards Blackburn and Lower Darwen.
