Huncoat driver jailed for two years


A Huncoat man has been jailed for taking a car without the owner’s consent.

Mark Anthony Hollins, 33, of Yorkshire Street, pleaded guilty at Hyndburn Magistrates’ Court to taking the Vauxhall Corsa on January 25, along with driving while banned, driving without insurance and going equipped for theft of a vehicle.

Hollins was jailed for a total of 24 months and disqualified for a further year.

Five other offences were admitted and taken into consideration.

why do we persist in banning these people for short terms ban them for life never give them a licence they obviously dont want to get one then ban them for life from driving
