THE wagons for a borough’s new recycling scheme rolled into action today.
Hyndburn Council is replacing its previous sacks and box scheme with two new wheeled bins for each household.
Today the system started in the north of the borough with residents in Rishton and parts of Gt Harwood the first to get the new blue bins.
Residents in the remainder of the council area will get the new bins on July 9.
Borough leader Cllr Miles Parkinson, said; “We know any change takes time to bed in and we’re asking everyone to check the calendar in their information pack.
