A schoolgirl was sexually assaulted in Oswaldtwistle.
Police received a report that a 14-year-old was walking on a footpath off Broadfield, Oswaldtwistle, when she was approached from behind by a man who put his hand under her skirt.
It happened at 8.10am yesterday.
The girl screamed and the man ran away back down the path.
He is described as white, in his 20s wearing a shiny black puffer jacket with the hood up.
