THESE lovely cats all need a lucky break after an unexpected drop in rehomings at a feline rescue group.
Andy Richards, founder of Friends of the Cats, based in Accrington, says autumn is usually a good time for finding new homes.
This year, however, that has not been the case and so the search is on for forever homes. The seven are now with foster families.
The feline that has been with the group longest is Queenie, a black domestic short-haired who came in more than six months ago.
The newest arrival is Star, a little black cat with a lovely nature, who was taken in only about four days ago.
Mr Richards, who says he cannot take in any cats until these are rehomed, said: "Usually rehomings take off in autumn but this year it hasn't."
He added: "Three of the seven are black, which leaves us up against it because for some reason black cats are really hard to home."
Anyone able to help should call Mr Richards on 07922 109933.
