A SECOND man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged in connection with a shooting incident in Oswaldtwistle in January.
The court heard a bullet was fired from a car at another vehicle during a dispute between rival drug gangs. The bullet missed and ended up embedded in a house wall.
Lewis Hannan, 22, of Pringle Street, Blackburn, was sent in custody to Burnley Crown Court charged with possessing a firearm with a rifled barrel capable of discharging a .32 hollow point bullet with intent by means thereof to cause another, to believe that unlawful violence would be used against him or another.
Hannan will appear before the Crown Court on October 5, along with James David Lonsdale, 21, of Grafton Street, Blackburn, who appeared earlier in the week.
