St Christopher's sixth form student Cara Thompson
A SIXTH form student from Accrington has been helping Hyndburn's MP in Westminster.
St Christopher’s Sixth Form student Cara Thompson, from Sandy Lane, has been on work experience with Graham Jones.
She spent time working in both his Westminster and constituency office in Accrington and helped compile research, table debate application and write an article on young people in politics.
Mr Jones said: “In parliament, she was able to see Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn go head-to-head when they debated international affairs in the Chamber.
“She also saw me standing up for local veterans charities.
“She has a bright future."
