A CHARITY night at an Indian restaurant has raised more than £1,000.
Balti House Rishton held the fundraising meal for East Lancashire Hospice earlier this week.
The restaurant holds monthly charity nights to help different groups in need of help.
A spokesman for the restaurant in High Street said: “We all had a fantastic night at our special charity meal.
“East Lancashire Hospice do so much to help those in need so we wanted to do our best to help them too.
“We know that every penny counts for the hospice, so it fills us with joy to help them to raise the vital funds that they need to keep a great service running.”
The final total has now been counted and £1,139 was raised with the evening.
Jacqui Collins, who helped organise the event to raise money for the hospice, said she wants another night to take place in a few months.
