THE Friends of Rhyddings Park in Oswaldtwistle is looking to hear from parkgoers about the issue of dogs ahead of its next meeting.
The group will be discussing whether dogs should have to be on leads at the park.
Volunteers at the park are collecting views to represent the community and pass the opinions on to Hyndburn Council, who run the park.
Ann Warrington, the chair of the friends group said: "We've just been asked by people to get people's opinion on whether dogs should be on leads.
"We want to get as many people, and dogs, involved as possible to share their views and have a big debate on it all.
"We've done it once before and we got very mixed views from everyone."
The meeting will also include an update on the £2million development currently ongoing at the park, which began in March.
People can come along to the event at St Mary's Parish Centre in Lock Street on Wednesday, June 21, from 7.30pm.
Anyone wanting to express their views but can't attend the meeting can email chair@rhyddingspark.co.uk.
