ASSAULT: Police are investigating after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted
POLICE said no offence took place following an investigation into an alleged sexual assault in Oswaldtwistle.
Detectives investigated reports an 18-year-old was attacked in a wooded area just off Pot House Lane at around 5.30pm on Sunday.
A police spokeswoman said: "We have looked into the complaint and are satisfied that no offence has taken place."
