FUNDRAISING: Charlie Procter.
A CHARITY seven-a-side football tournament will be taking place this weekend to raise money for a young boy battling cancer.
Hyndburn Leisure Centre will be hosting the competition from 10am until 3pm on Sunday to raise money to get three-year-old Charlie Procter to America for treatment.
Charlie, from Church, has Hepatoblastoma and his family are looking to raise money to fly to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
His mum Amber Schofield said: "So many people have been holding events for him, complete strangers, we can’t thank them enough.”
Teams have been confirmed for the tournament but everyone is invited to come along.
