Car fire fear
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car fire in Accrington last night.
At 8.35pm one appliance from Hyndburn fire station was called to the burning vehicle on Spring Street.
It is now being investigated as a possible arson.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and requested the attendance of the police as it was thought that the fire had started deliberately .
"No injuries were reported."
