EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the M65 this evening.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area after the crash which happened on the eastbound carriageway between J7 (Accrington) and J8 (A56).
The carriageway between the two junctions is closed.
It is thought a car aquaplaned and hit another car.
A spokesman for the fire service said they have sent two engines after a car overturned.
A police spokesman said there are reports of minor injuries.
