A TAKEAWAY has been awarded a five-star rating after its latest inspection.
Toni’s takeaway in Great Harwood was given a one-star Food Stands Agency rating in September after failing to complete food management paperwork.
However, an inspector revisited the Blackburn Road business and the relevant paperwork had been completed.

Toni’s takeaway was one of several businesses given a poor rating across East Lancashire.
Denise Villa, co-owner of the takeaway, said the business had been in Great Harwood for more than 20 years.
She said: “I would like to reassure all of our customers that we were given the one star for a short time due to a paperwork issue, not due to hygiene, quality or the efforts from staff.
“A paper work review was carried out by an inspector on a return visit.
“They saw the paperwork was up to date and our five star rating will be back on our door very soon.
“I would like to thank all our customers for their loyalty over the many years we have been here and there has been no change in the quality and taste of our food.”
