Chip shop fire
TWO fire engines were called to Accrington's 'Sea Breeze' fish and chip shop after a deep fat frier caught light around 4pm today.
The premises on Moscow Mill Street had been vacated by the time the crews arrived and they deal with the flames and smoke in the shop and the basement.
No-one was injured and the cause is being investigated.
