A TAXI driver has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with assaulting two men he had collected as fares from an Accrington pub.
Nabeel Iqbal, 24, of Countess Street, Accrington, pleaded not guilty to wounding Adam Wright causing him grievous bodily harm and assaulting Joseph Silcock causing him actual bodily harm.
He was sent on bail to Burnley Crown Court to stand trial. He will appear at the Crown Court on November 30.
