A MAN was knocked unconscious in a ‘nasty’ and ‘unprovoked’ pub attack.

The 28-year-old lost a tooth during the assault at The Walmsley Arms in Great Harwood.

Police have released CCTV images of a suspect wanted over the attack which happened at 8.15pm on November 8.

The victim also suffered a black eye in the one-punch attack to the face.

PC Neil Ogden, of Blackburn Police, said: “This was a nasty, unprovoked attack which left a man unconscious. We would appeal to anyone who recognises this individual to contact police immediately. Likewise, we would like to speak to anyone inside the pub who witnessed this attack."

“The pub was busy at the time of the assault and we believe there must be someone who knows who this man is.”
