Golec, 33, of Wordsworth Close, Oswaldtwistle, pleaded guilty to producing cannabis and abstracting electricity.
He was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £180 in criminal court charges, £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
Imran Hussain, defending, said Golec had suffered injuries in a road traffic accident and his face had been rebuilt with steel plates.
“The cannabis was for his pain relief,” said Mr Hussain. “He would digest it rather than smoke it.
“As he told the police, he was sick of buying from dealers.”
