A PROBE is underway after a garage workshop was thought to have been torched in Rishton in the early hours of today.
Around 20 firefighters battled the blaze at industrial premises in Brook Street, after an emergency call was received just before 1.30am.
Currently it is not known how much was lost in the fire but it is believed there were a number of vehicles and repair equipment inside the premises.

Investigators from Lancashire Police and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were set to return to the scene this morning to establish how the fire came about.
Watch manager Tony Spencer, of Hyndburn station, said: "The property was well alight by the time that fire crews arrived on the scene.
"There were two crews from Accrington, one from Great Harwood and one from Darwen who were called to the incident.
"It is believed to have involved a few vehicles and various other items that were in the workshop.
"It looks to have been started deliberately and Lancashire Police have been informed."
The premises are said to be situated behind the Co-op store in Harwood Road and no other premises were directly affected.
