HYNBURN MP Graham Jones has refused to discuss what he is doing with his pay rise.
The Labour whip declined to say whether he would join Labour colleagues Kate Hollern (Blackburn) and Julie Cooper (Burnley) in giving the £7,000 extra awarded last month to charity.

Asked what he would do with the cash, he said: “I don’t make decisions about my pay and I don’t talk about it.
“I don’t do the job for the money and I don’t care about the salary.
“I do this job because I want to help the public.
“I have never been an MP because of the money.”
Tory MPs Andrew Stephenson and Jake Berry will give the cash to charity but their Ribble Valley colleague Nigel Evans will take it, he says.
