POLICE have asked for help in identifying this woman after a 55-year-old woman’s purse was stolen in Rishton.
At around on Saturday June 13, the victim left her red leather purse containing £350 cash on a bollard outside the Co-op store on Harwood Road. She was was talking to a friend and then forgot about it.

Someone then stole the purse after she walked away.
PC Rubina Akoo from Blackburn Police said: “This woman has lost £350 because someone hasn’t done the decent thing and handed in the purse, instead they have stolen it.
“I would like to speak with the woman pictured so would ask anyone who recognises her to get in contact with us.”
