CCTV images have been released of a man police believe could help them with their inquiries into counterfeit cash.
Officers were called by bosses at Rishton News, in High Street, shortly after 6pm on Monday after a man used a fake £50 note to buy some goods.

A police spokeswoman said: “The unknown offender entered the shop as a customer, selected some goods and paid with a counterfeit note. He then left the shop.”
A short while later, the shopkeeper called police when they realised the note was counterfeit.
The spokeswoman added: “We would appeal for anyone with information about this incident, or who recognises the man, to get in touch.”
