Elderly Accrington man taken to hospital after mobility scooter hit by taxi
AN ELDERLY man suffered minor cuts and an injury to the side of his head after an accident on his mobility scooter.
The police and ambulance services were called to Asda in Hyndburn Road, Accrington, at around 3.45pm on Sunday after receiving reports of a collision between the man's mobility scooter and a taxi.

The man was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
An investigation has been launched to find out how the accident between the white Ford Mondeo and scooter happened.
Witnesses have been asked to call police on 101 quoting log reference number 0822 of December 14.
