TRAFFIC was backed up in Oswaldwistle last night after vehicle drove into a hole in the road.
Police said a manhole cover should have covered the hole, but for unknown reasons it was missing, and a car had driven into it.

The vehicle had to be lifted from the hole as it was not in a drivable condition around 6.30pm.
