Hyndburn schoolgirl's green poster will go up at town hall

A SCHOOLGIRL’S artwork reminding people to bin their litter and recycle more is to be displayed in Accrington.
Hyndburn council leader Miles Parkinson was so impressed by nine-year-old Saskia Haq’s work and accompanying letter, he asked for a poster of it to hang outside the town hall.
Saskia said: “I want people to pick up their litter and recycle more and I’m really glad my poster will be on display.”
Coun Parkinson said he found her work incredibly thoughtful.
He said: “Saskia is obviously passionate about her local environment, so we’re going to put it on display.”
