AN appeal for warm sheets, and blankets, is being made to help get homeless dogs through the winter Hyndburn Stray Dogs in Need is asking supporters to search cupboards for unused bedding.
The charity is asking for clean, spare blankets.
Charity founder Steve Wood said: “We would really welcome them.
“Warm sheets and blankets are always needed at this time of year.
“They take a lot of washing and drying, so having spare ones is very handy for stray dogs.
“If anyone can donate some to help out with our work, we would be really greateful.”
Anyone with blankets to donate is asked to take them to Glencoe Kennels, in Haslingden Old Road, in Oswaldtwistle, or the Whalley Road stray dogs charity shop, in Accrington.
Alternatively ring the charity on 01254 875 990 to arrange collection.
The charity is not accepting duvets.
