MARCUS James Davis, 30, of Lower Aspen Lane, Oswaldtwistle, was fined £110, ordered to pay £105 costs, and banned from driving for 17 months, by Blackburn magistrates after pleading guilty to driving with excess alcohol.
The court heard Davis was stopped the morning after he had been drinking, and gave a reading of 72, against the legal limit of 35.
Imran Hussain, defending, said his client had not deliberately driven with excess alcohol, but accepted it was his responsibility to make sure he was below the limit.
