A CHARITY which rescues stray dogs is urging loving families to open their homes to a pet in need.
Hyndburn Stray Dogs in Need has published details of dogs in need of homes on its website, during the ‘busiest time of the year’.
Founder of the charity Steve Woods said: “This is the time of year when dogs find themselves unwanted, unloved, scared, cold, and hungry.
“We need people who are willing to give our dogs forever homes, but they must be good homes.
“Anyone who can afford vet bills, food, and insurance, and can take a dog in until its dying day would be welcome.”
