GUIDELINES which will affect planning decisions in a borough are available for public comment.
Hyndburn Council is conducting a public consultation on the borough’s Development Management document. The document is an important policy which will be used on a daily basis by planning officers in the determination of applications.
There are six key areas of development outlined in the document, economy, education, housing, environment, accessibility and rural areas.
Each area contains 37 individual policies. Copies of the document can be found in libraries across the borough and electronically at www.hyndburnbc.gov.uk.
The council has also contacted 600 people by mail to inform then of the consultation. Public comments are encouraged and consultation on the document will run until Friday January 18.
