A PENSIONER saved from his burning home by an off-duty policeman neighbour has died, aged 92.
Thirty-year-old Aaron Wilson crawled through his neighbour’s smoke-filled home to save the man’s life after the fire in Blackburn Road, Oswaldtwistle, on Monday.
But the Lancashire Telegraph has learned the man died in hospital earlier today.
The fire service has stressed the need for working smoke alarms in homes.
The blaze was not being treated as suspicious.
