Hyndburn MP welcomes TV reception pledge

HYNDBURN MP Graham Jones has welcomed news that bosses of a new wind farm have offered to help people whose TV signal has been affected by the development.

Dozens of Baxenden residents have lost TV reception because of the wind farm on the moors between Haslingden and Oswaldtwistle. An offer of £100 to go towards FreeSat boxes has been made to residents.

He said: “I will continue to speak with EnergieKontor to ensure Baxenden residents receive a return to a digital TV service they would not unreasonably expect.

I bought one of their discounted freesat dishes. I now have to do a juggling act to get a decent volume but have better reception although I can't use my digital recorder which was a present last Christmas.
